This is actually 1977. I sort of suspected as soon as I saw how much slimmer Brian was than he was in 1976 during the 15 BIG ONES tour... what confirms it is that, while the announcer is babbling en francais, the group is mostly rehearsing tracks from LOVE YOU.

The clip of "It's OK," though, is from '76... pretty sure that was pulled from the Lorne Michaels 15th anniversary tv special.

Denny's "Find a ride, find a ride" in "It's OK" is one of my favorite little vocal parts on any Beach Boys record.

I love this clip... thank you for posting it!

The narrator is annoying at times, but its a great clip. Mike looks good without any head gear during the interview portion. Great to see Dennis' interview too!

I loved the concert portion of "Its OK". It reminded me of the very first time I saw The Beach Boys (15 BIG ONE'S Tour).

They left quite an impression on this (then) 5th Grader. The classic line up of Mike, Al, Brian, Carl, Dennis and company played hit after hit after hit. Until that Central Park (NYC) show, I didn't know it was The Beach Boys who played all those great songs I heard on the radio when I was a little kid.

I was hooked on The Beach Boys right there and then, even though I thought their then current single, "Rock And Roll Music" was quite wimpy compared to The Beatles' scorchin' version.

(The Beatles ROCK 'N' ROLL MUSIC and The Beach Boys 15 BIG ONES albums were both released in June 1976 and DJs were playing both group's version of "Rock And Roll Music" back to back on the radio that summer)
